NYSCA is an association of 135 New York State Collection Agencies. Our NYSCA members employ over 3,000 New York residents. We attempt to collect, on a voluntary basis, past due receivables owed our clients. We interact with consumers in hardship and work out payment plans.

NYSCA members are regulated by the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (PL 95-109; 15 USC 1692.) The FTC is the regulatory enforcement agency. Additionally, the FDCPA allows for direct consumer claims and actions.
